Kerman had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They really took it to the Reedley Pirates for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-14 victory. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Pirates are ranked 669th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kerman's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Reedley, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kerman will venture away from home to challenge Immanuel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Reedley has already played their next contest (against Exeter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
