Soccer Game Preview: Rocklin vs. Oak Ridge

The Rocklin Thunder will head out on the road to challenge the Oak Ridge Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rocklin's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Rocklin is headed into Thursday's following a draw, the team's first since December 19. They and Folsom finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Oak Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Del Oro.

Oak Ridge's goal came courtesy of Makenna Gradek, who's now up to two this season.

Oak Ridge's draw makes their record 6-3-3 this season. Meanwhile, Rocklin's record is now 8-1-3.

Rocklin beat Oak Ridge 3-1 in their previous matchup on January 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rocklin since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
