Soccer Game Preview: Pojoaque Valley vs. Los Alamos + How To Watch

Pojoaque Valley hasn't had much luck against Los Alamos recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Elks/Elkettes will challenge the Hilltoppers at 4:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Pojoaque Valley came up short against Moriarty and fell 3-1.

The Elks/Elkettes' goal came courtesy of Joshua Gomez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Los Alamos kept a clean sheet against Taos on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. Los Alamos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Los Alamos and bumps their season record up to 8-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for Pojoaque Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Pojoaque Valley suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Los Alamos in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Elks/Elkettes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
