Soccer Game Preview: Pasadena vs. Burroughs

Pasadena is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will venture away from home to challenge the Burroughs Bears at 3:45 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pasadena fell victim to Sierra Canyon and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trailblazers.

Meanwhile, Burroughs kept a clean sheet against Sierra Canyon on Tuesday. They beat the Trailblazers by a goal, winning 1-0.

Burroughs' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Pasadena came out on top in a nail-biter against Burroughs in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
