Baseball Recap: Lamar County Takes a Loss

Lamar County lost against Social Circle on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans came up short against the Redskins, falling 14-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lamar County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Social Circle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lamar County will square off against rival Jasper County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Social Circle is set to face off against their familiar foe Towers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
