Baseball Game Preview: John Milledge Academy Trojans vs. Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles

The John Milledge Academy Trojans will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vidalia Heritage Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on John Milledge Academy, who comes in off a win.

John Milledge Academy is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Heritage. Everything went John Milledge Academy's way against Heritage on Monday as John Milledge Academy made off with a 7-1 victory.

Kolt McMichael was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. McMichael was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Will Adams was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Vidalia Heritage Academy lost 8-1 to Frederica Academy on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
