Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

If Trinity Christian was feeling good fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Fayette County on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions fell just short of the Sandy Creek Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Trinity Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fran-J Confessor, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Sandy Creek, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Trinity Christian beat the Patriots by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday.
