Bowdon had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 11-11 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Haralson County Rebels by a score of 5-1. This was a revenge game for the Red Devils: when they faced off against the Rebels back in August, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

As for Haralson County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Haralson County's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Fennell, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Ryleigh Williams, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Looking ahead, Bowdon will be playing in front of their home fans against Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.68 runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Haralson County, they will take on Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
