Recap: Skyline Spartans vs. Eastlake Wolves
If the Skyline Spartans were riding high off their 62-42 takedown of the Interlake Saints on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Skyline fell just short of Eastlake by a score of 39-36. Skyline lost against Eastlake in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-25 score last time.
Eastlake can attribute much of their success to Tatum Wood, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sofia Aluas, who scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds.
Skyline now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Eastlake, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyline will take on Issaquah at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastlake, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Mount Si at 7:15 p.m.
