Decatur is a perfect 5-0 against Midtown since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Knights at 5:55 p.m. Decatur will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Decatur had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Tri-Cities on Thursday. Decatur put the hurt on Tri-Cities with a sharp 14-3 win. Considering Decatur has won 12 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Midtown was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against Pace Academy, falling 9-1. Midtown hasn't had much luck with Pace Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Midtown now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Decatur, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.

Everything went Decatur's way against Midtown in their previous meeting back in August, as Decatur made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
