Miller County entered their tilt with Southwest Georgia STEM Charter on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They didn't even let the Aggies on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. Give the Pirates' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Brayden Horn made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Tyler Thornton was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Thomas Cook, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Miller County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Miller County pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miller County will head out to face off against Schley County at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, they will take on Pelham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
