Softball Recap: Northwood-Kensett Takes a Loss

Northwood-Kensett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the West Fork Warhawks, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in May.

Northwood-Kensett's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for West Fork, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-4.

Northwood-Kensett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 17-4 defeat against Eagle Grove on the 21st. West Fork has also already played their next contest (against Newman Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
