Baseball Recap: Madison County Comes Up Short

Madison County lost to Luray back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mountaineers fell 5-2 to the Bulldogs. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Watson, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Madison County's record now sits at 2-20. As for Luray, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

As of now, neither Madison County nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
