Carrollton had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They blew past the Westlake Lions 66-44. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-15.

Carrollton pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.2 points per game. As for Westlake, they moved to 11-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

When Carrollton and Westlake next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Carrollton will try to stop Norcross' five-game winning streak when the meet at 10:35 a.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Westlake will challenge Northview and their three-game winning streak at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
