Central Springs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Nashua-Plainfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Central Springs and six for Nashua-Plainfield.

It was a proper cat-fight when Central Springs duked it out with Gilbert on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-3.

Meanwhile, Nashua-Plainfield fell victim to Newman Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Knights.

Central Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Nashua-Plainfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Central Springs took their victory against Nashua-Plainfield in their previous meeting back in May by a conclusive 9-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
