Football Recap: Estancia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Estancia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 52-32 to the Tularosa Wildcats. The Bears lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-0 score last time.

Devon Chavez threw for 83 yards on only five passes. Daniel Hernandez was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Estancia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tularosa, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Estancia has already played their next contest, a 68-18 victory against Socorro on the 12th. As for Tularosa, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 36-6 loss against Santa Rosa on the 12th.
