            Baseball Preview: Cherokee Bluff Bears vs. Loganville Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Cherokee Bluff is on  an  eight-game streak of home wins, while Loganville is on  an  eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bears will host the Red Devils  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Cherokee Bluff barely beat Lanier the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears' pitcher stepped up to hand the Longhorns  a   15-0 shutout  on Monday.
 Logan Robinson looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Ethan England was a standout: he fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bubba Coleman, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Cherokee Bluff  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .676. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
 Meanwhile, Loganville made easy work of Clarke Central  on Monday and carried off  an  11-0 victory.
 Loganville is  on a roll lately: they've  won 18 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Cherokee Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 17-11.
 Cherokee Bluff beat Loganville 7-3  when the teams last played  back in March of 2024. Will the Bears repeat their success,  or do  the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
