Shaw entered their tilt with Carver on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 17-1 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Cameran Fletcher, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Lovett, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Shaw's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Carver, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shaw will venture away from home to challenge Brookstone at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Brookstone's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Shaw's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Carver, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Carver Tigers take on Sumter County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sumter County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.65 runs per game on average), something Carver will no doubt try to take advantage of.
