Soccer Game Preview: Del Norte vs. Albuquerque Academy

Del Norte is 0-10 against Albuquerque Academy since October of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Knights will look to defend their home pitch against the Chargers at 4:00 p.m.

Del Norte is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Bernalillo on Tuesday. The Knights fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Albuquerque Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.6 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies. Albuquerque Academy's winning goal came courtesy of Wyatt Bryniarski.

Del Norte now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Albuquerque Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-3.
