It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Pawnee ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Nokomis Redskins 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since June 2, 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Pawnee and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Nokomis, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Looking ahead, Nokomis will take on Gillespie at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pawnee will be paying especially close attention to the Redskins' game: after the Redskins face off against the Miners, they'll take on Pawnee again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
