Basketball Recap: New Oxford Comes Up Short

New Oxford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Delone Catholic Squires, falling 59-29. While losing is never fun, the Colonials can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 508th, while the Squires are ranked 149th).

New Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Delone Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

New Oxford has already played their next game (against Red Lion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Delone Catholic has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Hanover.
