Soccer Recap: Beecher Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Beecher was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers. If Beecher were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Bradley-Bourbonnais when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beecher's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5-1. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Beecher will venture away from home to challenge Grant Park at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they will welcome Lincoln-Way Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lincoln-Way Central's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Bradley-Bourbonnais' offense will have their work cut out for them.
