Softball Recap: Windsor Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Windsor Academy can now relate to. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors on Thursday. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Warriors when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sealy Dent made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Windsor Academy and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

As of now, neither Windsor Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
