Softball Recap: Centaurus Takes a Loss

Centaurus fell victim to Mesa Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Grizzlies. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this matchup were averaging 3.88 runs allowed.

Centaurus saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emery Fannin, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Centaurus' defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Mesa Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Centaurus nor Mesa Ridge have any future games scheduled.
