Williams Field waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 win over the Higley Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-45 two weeks ago.

Williams Field's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Autumn Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Corrine Jones, who posted eight points along with ten rebounds and four steals.

Williams Field smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Higley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cadence Murdough, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Moreira, who scored ten points and three steals.

Williams Field pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Higley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Williams Field nor Higley have any future games scheduled.
