Baseball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Comes Up Short

Peachtree Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brookwood Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 last Wednesday.

Peachtree Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Brookwood, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peachtree Ridge will host Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brookwood, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Walton at 2:00 p.m.
