Eagle took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Meridian Warriors 39-14. The Mustangs have beaten the Warriors the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Eagle got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was AUSTIN RAMSEY out in front who threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 42 yards and one TD. BOWEN BLACKBURN helped out on the ground, rushing for 101 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Eagle didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of LUKE MIKITA and KAI WILLIAMS.

Coming up, Eagle will look to defend their home field on Friday against Skyview at 5:30 p.m. As for Meridian, they will head out on the road to take on Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
