Basketball Recap: Lake Balboa College Prep Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Lake Balboa College Prep won the last time they faced Valor Academy, and Celine Assio did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars enjoyed a cozy 38-20 win over Valor Academy on Friday thanks in part to Assio, who posted 26 points along with six boards and four steals. What's more, she also posted three assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

Lake Balboa College Prep has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points over those games.
