West Ranch extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were beaten by the Saugus Centurions 54-6. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while the Centurions are ranked 197th).

Blake Johnson threw for 66 yards on four of 14 attempts. Charlie Samuelson was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards. On the ground, Mesziah Ramos rushed for 39 yards and one TD.

Lattimore has become a key player for Saugus: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Ty Hall helped Nuttall out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Coincidentally, West Ranch and Saugus will both be playing Castaic the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Centurions will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
