Soccer Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

St. Paul lost against Pomona Catholic back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The St. Paul Swordsmen lost 9-0 to the Pomona Catholic Pacers. The shutout was out of character for the Swordsmen seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Pomona Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

St. Paul wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-1 win against San Gabriel Mission on the 21st. Pomona Catholic has also already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Sacred Heart of Jesus on the 20th.
