Mora has gone 9-1 against Pine City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Mora and eight for Pine City dating back to last season.

On Friday, Mora came up short against Cloquet and fell 26-14.

Meanwhile, Pine City fell victim to Pequot Lakes and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Patriots and fell 36-0. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Patriots are ranked 72nd).

Pine City's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mora, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Mora's way against Pine City in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Mora made off with a 28-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
