Lemoore entered their tilt with Hanford on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bullpups. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 7th.

While Lemoore won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-20.

Jade Lewis paced Lemoore's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lewis got some help from Hailey Ferreira and her 22 assists. Ferreira was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hanford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Daniela Rodriguez, who had nine assists and eight digs. Hazel Agnew was another key player, getting 17 digs.

Lemoore's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Hanford, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lemoore will be playing in front of their home fans against Sanger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanford, they will head out on the road to challenge Kerman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Lions have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
