Soccer Game Preview: Novato vs. Archie Williams

Novato is 0-10 against Archie Williams since December of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Novato Hornets are taking a road trip to take on the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons at 3:15 p.m.

Novato is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Redwood, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1053rd, while the Giants are ranked 91st).

While Archie Williams' fans didn't get a definitive result on Friday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. They and San Marin finished up their game with a 2-2 draw.

Archie Williams' draw gives them a new season record of 3-4-4. As for Novato, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Novato came up short against Archie Williams when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Novato avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
