Soccer Recap: University Comes Up Short

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Laguna Beach Breakers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 545th, while the Breakers are ranked 223rd).

University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Laguna Beach, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

University will face off against Woodbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Laguna Beach, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Rosary Academy at 3:30 p.m.
