Softball Recap: Wyandotte Takes a Loss

If Wyandotte was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Newkirk last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears fell just short of the Latta Panthers by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bears have suffered since September 26, 2024.

Wyandotte's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 27-10. As for Latta, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.
