Community came into Monday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the New Franklin Bulldogs 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since September 28, 2024.

Community's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for New Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
