Soccer Recap: Rauner Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Rauner was not quite Muchin College Prep's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Mountain Lions. Rauner fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Muchin College Prep since Monday.

Rauner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Muchin College Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rauner is set to challenge their familiar foe ITW David Speer Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Muchin College Prep will square off against rival Mansueto at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
