After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Grovetown was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Heritage Patriots, falling 7-1. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Grovetown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Riggs, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Brodie Combs also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Grovetown's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

While Grovetown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
