Weston took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Newtown, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nighthawks on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

The victory got Weston back to even at 4-4. As for Newtown, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 7-7-1 record.

Weston has already played their next contest (against Pomperaug), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Newtown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Masuk on the 16th.
