Basketball Recap: Halifax Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tri-Valley last Saturday, Halifax came back down to earth. The Halifax Wildcats took a blow against the Juniata Indians on Monday, falling 56-29. The Wildcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Halifax's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Juniata, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Halifax Wildcats take on the Lancaster County Christian Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Juniata, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-26 victory against Belleville Mennonite on the 14th.
