Basketball Recap: Arroyo Grande Takes a Loss

Arroyo Grande was the 46-44 winner over Mission College Prep when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Arroyo Grande Eagles fell to the Mission College Prep Royals 55-51. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mission College Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gwen Nelson out in front who went 5 of 10 on her way to 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Makanani Guy, who posted 18 points.

Arroyo Grande's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Mission College Prep, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

As of now, neither Arroyo Grande nor Mission College Prep have any future games scheduled.
