Softball Recap: Northside Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northside can now relate to. They fell just short of the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Lions earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

Addie Renner made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Layla Phelps was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 24-9. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Northside nor St. Pius X Catholic have any future games scheduled.
