Soccer Game Preview: Colfax vs. Roseville

The Colfax Falcons will face off against the Roseville Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Colfax comes in on six and Roseville on three.

Colfax is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Ponderosa 3-2.

Colfax hit Ponderosa with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sonja Daves, Kaia Diederichs, and Lucy Hoffman.

Meanwhile, Roseville kept a clean sheet against Pioneer on Thursday. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. Give the Tigers' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Colfax's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those nine matches. As for Roseville, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
