Soccer Recap: West Campus Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, West Campus couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Raging Rhinos are ranked 51st).

West Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Twelve Bridges, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

West Campus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Twelve Bridges, they will challenge Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Catholic's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
