Reading waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 42-41 win over the Muhlenberg Muhls. Given the Red KNights' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Muhls are ranked 473rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reading has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.9 points per game. As for Muhlenberg, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Reading will be playing in front of their home fans against Berks Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
