Soccer Game Preview: Laguna Beach vs. Northwood

The Laguna Beach Breakers are taking a road trip to challenge the Northwood Timberwolves at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Laguna Beach is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Rosary Academy on Friday. They came up short against the Royals, falling 3-0. The Breakers haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to Rosary Academy. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Timberwolves struggled afterwards.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Laguna Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
