Basketball Recap: Tulelake Honkers vs. Happy Camp Indians
The Tulelake Honkers won the last time they faced the Happy Camp Indians, and things went their way on Friday too. Tulelake strolled past the Indians with points to spare, taking the game 47-32.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tulelake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makenzie Perez, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mareli Hernandez, who scored 16 points.
Tulelake's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Happy Camp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
Tulelake will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Crosspoint Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Happy Camp, they will head out on the road to take on the at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
