Soccer Game Preview: La Quinta vs. Palm Springs

The La Quinta Blackhawks will take on the Palm Springs Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. La Quinta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

La Quinta's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Palm Desert 3-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Blackhawks were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Palm Springs after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Shadow Hills by a score of 2-1.

La Quinta's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-3. As for Palm Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-2.
