Soccer Recap: Palma Takes a Loss

If Palma was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Seaside last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Palma Chieftains fell just short of the Greenfield Bruins by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Palma's goal came courtesy of Allison Guerra, which was the first she's scored this season.

Palma now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Greenfield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palma will host Santa Catalina at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenfield, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Seaside at 5:45 p.m.
