After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pine Ridge, Crow Creek was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Colome Cowboys. The Chieftains not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Crow Creek's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 25-9.

The win got Crow Creek back to even at 1-1. As for Colome, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Crow Creek will challenge Cheyenne-Eagle Butte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Chieftains their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Colome, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Platte/Geddes at 7:15 p.m.
